Mr. Strange is principle at Luther Strange & Associates, LLC. Prior to forming his firm, he served a United States Senator and Attorney General for  the State of Alabama.  Before his election to Attorney General in 2010, he founded Strange LLC, a law firm based in Birmingham, Alabama. Prior to founding Strange LLC, he was a partner with the law firm of Bradley Arant Rose & White. Mr. Strange is a prominent lawyer and civic leader active in Alabama. He is a graduate of Tulane University where he was a scholarship basketball player. Mr. Strange also graduated from Tulane Law School. In the year between college and law school, Mr. Strange worked in the Merchant Marine in the North Sea. He is an Eagle Scout and Rotarian. Mr. Strange is regarded as one of Alabama's leading economic development lawyers and frequently advises companies on growth and expansion opportunities in the state. In this role, he led his firm's team in the deal that brought the $1 billion Hyundai automotive plant to Montgomery. For years, Mr. Strange has been very active in Republican Party politics and maintains an active schedule of events focused on building the Republican Party in Alabama. In 2006 he was the Republican Nominee for Lt. Governor of Alabama.
